Download, Pack, and Files.

Can't unzip your files? Here's what to do:

We regularly check our files to ensure they are not damaged or corrupted. We use Mac OS's native zip software, which may cause issues for some Windows users.

Recommended Solution:

We recommend using WinRAR Archiver Software, or WINRAR. Avoid double-clicking to unzip the file; instead, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the zip file.
  2. Select "Open with WinRAR Archiver."
  3. Click on "Extract To."
  4. Choose the destination folder for your files.
  5. Click "OK."

For Mac OSx users we recommend you to unzipp using Mac OS native unzipper or The Unarchiver.

I downloaded and unzipped the files, but it seems like a few files are missing. What should I do?

If you encounter this issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Ensure you have enough space on your disk.
  2. Delete the downloaded ZIP files.
  3. Re-download the files using the link we sent to your email.
  4. Unzip the files again.

When I get my download link?

In most cases, the download link will be available immediately after your purchase confirmation. However, it may take a few minutes for the download link to be sent to your registered email. This delay can occur because Shopify’s fraud detector assesses the risk of the payment.

I didn’t receive my download link, what should I do?

When you purchase from our store, you will receive the download link immediately after payment confirmation. You will also receive a download link in the email used for the purchase. If you do not receive the download link in your email, please check your spam and promotions folder.

Occasionally, there may be an issue with PayPal, requiring us to handle your order manually. In such cases, there might be a delay in sending your download link. In this case, We process all orders manually from 11:00 AM to 04:00 AM (CET).

My download links are expired, what should I do?

We promote the size of our products when unzipped. We zip all our products to make your download faster. On every product page, you’ll find the size of the product both zipped and unzipped.

I can’t open the project template, what should I do?

1. Ensure you meet all requirements to open the template, such as the DAW version, required plugins, and correct plugin versions.

2. Ensure you have the correct plugin format: VST, VST3, or AU.

3. Please make sure to unzip the downloaded file correctly. Our products are compressed using Mac OS native software.

There are missed files in my template, what should I do?

Before proceeding, ensure you've downloaded all files completely and correctly unzipped them. Next, try rescanning the samples folder. If you encounter any further issues, please don't hesitate to contact our team at support@abtsounds.com for assistance.

How can I install my purchased serum presets?

1. Open Serum and click on “Menu”;

2. Click on “Show Serum Presets Folder”;

3. Click on “Presets”;

4. Drag and Drop the folder containing your purchased serum presets into the “Presets” folder.

5. Open Serum, Click on “Menu”, and click on “Rescan Folders On the Disk”.

Which Serum version do I need?

The compatibility requirements for our packs may vary depending on the product. For detailed information about which version you should use, please check the 'Requirements' section on the product page.

There’s an error when I try to use ABT Sounds Presets, what should I do?

1. Make sure to use the latest Xfer serum version;

2. Ensure that you have installed all presets in the correct folder.

License & Copyright.

Are ABT Sounds Packs royalty-free?

ABT Sounds preset packs, sound banks, and sample packs are 100% royalty-free, allowing you to use them for commercial work and releases. However, rendering project files (or templates) and releasing the exact songs as your own original content is strictly prohibited.

You are welcome to use the samples, presets, loops, melody parts, etc., included in the project files for your productions.

Redistribution of the sound banks and packages is also strictly prohibited.

Where can I get the certified license for my samples?

You can generate your certified license by completing the License Form.

In the "Comments" section, please include the following information:

  • Full Legal Name
  • Artist Name
  • Order Number
  • Email
  • Product Name (for which you need the license)

Our team processes each license manually, which may take up to 48 hours. We’ll notify you once your license is ready.

Why would I need a certified license?

A certified license serves as legal proof that you have the right to use specific samples or sounds in your music. It helps protect you against potential copyright claims or content recognition flags. You may also need a license to show labels or distributors that you have the rights to use certain samples. Having this license ensures you can confidently release your music without legal complications and quickly resolve any disputes that may arise.

Will a certified license prevent my music from being flagged by content recognition systems?

While we can’t guarantee that your tracks won’t be flagged, this certified license provides all the proof you need to legally use the sample. It will help you dispute any claims and get your music released as smoothly and quickly as possible.

What can I do, and what can I not do?

You may not:

  • Release the project files as they are (on a record label or similar) under your name.
  • Directly or indirectly license, sub-license, sell, resell, or redistribute the project files, even for free.
  • Register the copyrights of the project files under yourself or a company.

Failure to comply with this restriction may result in legal consequences.

You may use the project files to:

  • Learn music production techniques, as the templates are designed for educational purposes.
  • Reverse-engineer the music production process and use it as a foundation for your own productions.
  • Use the sounds, presets, and samples in your own productions.
  • Incorporate parts of the project files in your own tracks.
  • Use parts of the files for non-profit videos.
  • Use the files in live or radio DJ sets.
  • Incorporate sound elements from the templates/project files into your own tracks/compositions, provided you significantly alter the melodies and chord progressions (

Payment and Security.

Can't complete your payment? Here's what to do:

Verify Information: Ensure all your information is correctly entered in the appropriate fields. If you are traveling, using your primary address in a different country can trigger our fraud system, resulting in a canceled payment. Double-check that your address matches your current location. We use trusted third-party apps like Stripe and PayPal for payments. We do not have access to your payment details, these platforms verify all information to prevent fraud.

For Brazilian Customers: If you are in Brazil and unable to complete your payment, please know that the Brazilian government may block payments in dollars while you're in Brazil, even with an international credit card. Therefore, we need to manually generate an invoice in Brazilian Reais and process your order manually. Please contact our support team at support@abtsounds.com to complete your order.

How secure is ABT Sounds?

All orders are encrypted and processed by trustworthy third-party payment processors, such as Stripe Payment and PayPal.

For payment method issues:

1. In our store, we accept Apple Pay, Stripe (International Credit/Debit Card), and PayPal. If your card is not accepted by one of these methods, please try another of our available payment methods.

2. Make sure that you have filled in your name correctly, and also ensure that the credit/debit card holder's name matches the name added in the 'name' section.

3. Please ensure that you have entered the correct postal code.

4. Please ensure that your card account has sufficient funds.

How long does it usually take for you to respond?

My coupon is not working, what should I do?

1. Some of our coupons have expiration dates, so please ensure that your coupon is still valid;

2. Certain coupons are not allowed to be redeemed on certain products;

3. Some coupons cannot be combined with other discounts;

4. Certain coupons are only valid for first-time buyers.
